The Assisted Living Waiver (ALW):
is a Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver that was created by legislation that directed the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to develop and implement the project to test the efficacy of assisted living as a Medi-Cal benefit.
Nursing Home Placement:
We assist in finding a nursing home for you or your loved one.
Board & Care Homes/ Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly(RCFE):
Residential homes that have been converting for the purpose of providing care for seniors usually up to six residents at a time.
Independent Living Listings:
Listings are provided for the seniors who are independent and looking for a senior community.
Assisted Living Listing:
Listing are provided to seniors who are in need of assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.
Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC):
A community that can offer many levels of service from independent living, assisted living, to skilled nursing all under one roof. Most communities require a sizable deposit to move in.
Congregate Living Health Facility (CLHF):
are required to provide a non-institutional, home-like environment while providing medical care that is generally less intense than that provided in general acute care hospitals, but more intense than that provided in skilled nursing facilities.
Assisted living provided for low-income seniors, depending on availability.
Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care:
We assist in finding the right level of care for your family member who is needing Dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
